Carmen’s Café in Troy will host its annual Christmas Eve dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. today. The event is free and open to all. The owners that attendees “bring a friend and something share.”
The restaurant will put out a spread of rice and beans, with picadillo (ground beef sautéed with tomato and herb broth with olives, capers and raisins), plantains, salad and flan. Sangria, coffee and tea will also be served.
The evening will feature a musical performance by flamenco guitarist Garth Green of Troy.
Carmen’s Café is located at 198 First St., on the corner of First and Adams streets.
